Kevin Widjaja

Kevin Widjaja

With ten years’ experience in private practice, I have enjoyed treating conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ankle pain, Achilles tendonitis and other sporting injuries. Having also played soccer and tennis; I am familiar with treating active patients from children to adults. I also have an interest in Aussie Rules and basketball, and keep up to date with the research involving lower leg injuries.

Treatments that I use to improve foot and leg pain include orthotic therapy, dry needling, foot mobilisation, shockwave treatment and laser therapy. I also treat other podiatric conditions such as ingrown toenails with surgery if required, corns and warts.

I like to use a hands-on approach to achieve every patient’s unique goal, ranging from getting through a day at work pain free to running marathons, or playing a season of sport. I am also a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Western Australia’s Podiatry Clinic, mentoring the next generation of Podiatrists.

I also work at other clinics in the local area including Piara Waters Podiatry and Beeliar Podiatry. If you would like to book in at these clinics, feel free to head to our websites by following the links above.

Alaric Arokiasamy

Growing up as a competitive athlete, Alaric often faced challenges with lower leg, foot, and ankle issues. Despite seeing numerous specialists, it was the treatment provided by a podiatrist that offered him the most relief. This pivotal experience motivated Alaric to pursue a career in podiatry, aiming to make a similar positive impact on his own patients.

Alaric is a highly skilled podiatrist with a special interest in Podiatric Sports Medicine and a track record of treating elite athletes. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cardiff University and further advanced his expertise with a postgraduate qualification in Podiatric Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary University of London.

During his postgraduate studies, Alaric had the opportunity to work alongside Chelsea FC’s physiotherapy team and collaborate with leading sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, podiatric surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in the UK. He also gained valuable experience working with high-level athletes at Canterbury Cricket Ground.

Born and raised in Malaysia, Alaric has been immersed in a rich tapestry of cultures, customs, and languages. He is fluent in English and Malay, and has a good understanding of Tamil. His passion lies in helping others, and he finds fulfillment in doing so through the practice of podiatry.

With experience in both public and private healthcare sectors in the UK, Alaric treats patients of all ages—from young children to seniors. His expertise in gait and running analysis was honed through his work in specialist shoe stores during his time as a podiatry student. While he enjoys addressing a range of podiatric issues, he has a particular interest in nail surgery.

In his free time, Alaric loves staying active by going to the gym, playing football, and enjoying futsal. He’s excited to continue exploring Western Australia and all it has to offer.
