Yes, if Podiatry is included in your private health cover, you can claim onsite with HICAPS. If you would like to know specifically how much your private health fund will cover, you will need to contact them directly.

An Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan is a referral from your GP when you fit certain criteria. This will enable you to claim a rebate from Medicare towards the cost of your consultation.
As we are a private billing practice, your account must be paid in full on the day of your appointment and we can then process your Medicare rebate on the same day.

Yes, all DVA patients are required to have a current GP referral to see our Podiatrists. These referrals remain current for 12 visits or 12 months.

Initial appointments are 40 minutes, and returning appointments are 20 minutes.

Yes, we do see patients who are covered under Workers Compensation; however, you must have the appropriate Podiatry referral, paperwork and contact details prior to the appointment.

Please bring any previous medical imaging of your feet or legs, such as x-rays, ultrasounds, CT, MRI.
It’s a good idea to also bring your shoes, insoles or orthotics you may already have. Dress in comfortable clothes as we will be assessing your movement (if wearing pants please make sure they can be rolled up to your knees).

Yes. Podiatrists treat all types of foot pain, but we can also treat ankle pain, shin splints, knee pain, hip pain and even lower back pain.

Yes, we can refer you under Medicare for medical imaging such as x-rays and ultrasound to help diagnose your problem.
